Focus of the conference & background:
Recent developments such as large consolidations, market liberalisation and new requirements based on national and EU legislation have created new challenges for European electricity and gas companies.
Data and information handling is at the centre of this process and they are often crucial to attain security and quality in production and distribution processes, as well as getting new and satisfied customers.
Against this background, and together with the common aim of "operational excellence", a higher quality of service is demanded from what is known as Enterprise Architecture (EA), i.e. management, control and integration of the architectural domains:
The result of this work is of the outmost importance for productivity, efficiency and the possibility to create new services and products to customers which in the end have a large impact on the company profit.
