Welcome to this new course designed to give you an understanding of the financial and physical structures of trading and risk management in the oil market.

 

 At this intensive training course you will learn about:

- The basics of what oil is.  We will go into detail of the demand/supply balance i.e. producers and consumers. You will learn which are the main drivers of the market.

-The effect of Oil Storage/ Arbitrages / Spreads / Hedge funds/ Technical/ Geopolitical risk and other drivers in the market. We will also discuss the value chain. In this section, you will learn about the basics of how a refinery works and how shipping, storage and distribution can impact the fundamentals of the Cracking process.

- Who are the main players in the trading market and how they influence the oil market. You will also get a basic introduction to what trading is.
