Marcel Galjee, who until now has been responsible for trading of renewable energy certificates, will head the team, who have their background in trading, portfolio management, analysis and origination. The desk is a part of the power and emission department, headed by Kai Seela.

Besides trading EUAs and CERs, the new desk will also deal with RECS certificates and guarantees of origin, among other things. The team will be completed with a new emissions trader this autumn, while the trading house is looking for an additional emission analyst.
