European Commission in Brussels on the regulatory

She is participating in the monitoring of implementation of current Community legislation (Directive on electricity from renewable energy sources) as well as in the preparation of the new legislative proposal to be adopted by the Commission at the end of 2007.

Offshore Wind Power Plant - 110 MW - Vattenfall's experiences from installation and commissioning.
The Lillgrund offshore wind power plant is located in
Öresund, approximately 7 km south of the Öresund
bridge. The construction started in 2006 and the 48
wind turbines with a total capacity of 110 MW are
expected to be installed and in operation during the
autumn 2007. The estimated annual electricity generation
is 330 GWh, which is equivalent to the electricity
consumption of around 60 000 Swedish households.

Mattias Törnkvist, Vattenfall Power Consultant AB
Mattias Törnkvist works as wind energy consultant at Vattenfall Power Consultant AB. During 2005 - 2006,
he was involved as the owner's engineer in the procurement process of the Lillgrund plant and he is now
responsible for documenting the experiences from
the project. Mattias is currently engaged as the
owner's engineer in the planning and design of
Vattenfall's offshore wind project in Kalmarsund; the
Trolleboda project.

Mads Kolby is a member of the Technology Group within Vestas Northern Europe with his main focus on coordinating large, complex projects from the tender stage through to the installation and commissioning of the wind turbines. Mads Kolby has been occupying different positions within Vestas since early 2002 amongst those he has been acting as the Product Manager for the 2MW turbine program. He has a degree in Export Engineering from Vitus Bering University College in Denmark.

Truels Kjer graduated as engineer from the Technical University of Denmark in 1979. He worked for 10 years with consulting engineering company and 17 years in the
insurance industry, both with insurers and brokers. He primarily worked with risk assessment, claims handling and product development within technical lines, including onshore and offshore wind turbines.

Facilitating a condition monitoring program in the
most effective way has always been an issue for the
specialists involved. So the choice of a well-performing
condition monitoring system is only a small factor on
the way to create a successful condition monitoring
programme. More important is an adequate organisation,
installation, configuration and infrastructure. This
presentation will focus on the main aspects of applying
condition monitoring in a way that can be successful in
the long-term.

Inge Aasheim, Business Development - Wind Energy Aftermarket, SKF

Inge Aasheim is the driver and coordinator for wind energy aftermarket business development in the SKF Renewable Energy segment. He is coordinating and facilitating the annual SKF Wind Farm Management
Conference. He has a mechanical engineering background and has been working with condition
monitoring since 1985 in all type of industries in
Scandinavia, including wind energy.
