Dr. Tahir Kapetanovic, Energy Inspectorate, Energie-Control GmbH
Dr. Tahir Kapetanovic is Director Electricity at the Austrian Energy Regulatory Authority Energie-Control GmbH. He joined the Authority at its establishment in Spring 2001. He is also the Co-Chairm of the ERGEG Electricity Market Task Force and the CEER Electricity Security of Supply. In the EU Technology Platform SmartGrids he is the Chairman of the Network Operations Working Group and the member of the Advisory Council. From 1988 to 2001 he was on different assignments in the industry and has spent several years of academic research in power systems in Zagreb, at Imperial College of London and at Vienna University of Technology.
Peter Styles, EFET, Board member, Electricity Committee Chairman
Peter Styles is principle consultant in Stratos European Policy Limited and offers services to trade associations, investors, academic institutions and other organisations in the fields of European policy and regulation. One of Peter's main areas of expertise and experience is energy sector politics, legislation and regulation. Since February 2000, Peter has been a Board Member of the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET)
and Chairman of the Electricity Committee of EFET. He, in addition, became a founding Board member of an associated energy traders' group in Germany, EFET Deutschland, in September 2001. He is a Barrister by profession and holds a Masters Degree from Cambridge University.
