Jerry de Leeuw, Managing Director, Mercurious
Jerry de Leeuw has traded many years by open out-cry on the floors of various exchanges and has much experience in screen-based trading. He has traded on EOE, AEX, Euronext, Euronext Liffe, DAX-Xetra, Eurex, NYSE, Nasdaq, NYMEX, CBOT, CBOE, and many more. With APX, Jerry was responsible for the development of the continental gas markets in Belgium and The Netherlands.  After completing his study in Economics in 1995, he became a MarketMaker on the trading-floor of the European Option Exchange in Amsterdam and was employed by Curvalue on EOE, AEX and Euronext. He established his own MarketMaker company (Summer Traders BV) in 1999, was licensed under the supervisory body AFM, became a Member of Euronext Liffe, and had clearing-contracts with Fortis and Goldman Sachs.

Dr. Peter Kosater, European Energy Exchange AG
Dr. Peter Kosater is working for EEX in the Market Development department where he is in charge of the EEX-trainings for exchange traders as well as product development. Peter Kosater has a degree in Economics with a special focus on Econometrics from the University of Osnabrueck (2002). Later, he joined the graduate school of risk management at the University of Cologne where he finished his PhD thesis in 2006. Within the thesis, Peter has modelled the spot prices of EEX using nonlinear time series methods. In addition, he has also discussed weather derivatives on a smaller scale. (Thesis: Application of non-linear time series methods to power risk management: A case study for Germany).

Peder Thomas Petersen, Senior Analyst, Dong Energy
Peder Thomas Petersen is a senior analyst in the Energy Markets department of DONG Energy. He has worked on short and long term modelling of the power price and valuation of exotic options. Peder holds a Master's degree in economics with emphasis on financial and econometrics from the University of Southern Denmark. Peder has worked in the Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs and has several years of experience as a teaching assistant at both University of Southern Denmark and Copenhagen Business School.
