Dr. George Waterhouse, George Waterhouse Consultancies. George Waterhouse spent 24 years providing technical services to the BP Group and it's customers in the International Marketing of oil and coal. During this time he also spent 2 ½ years in Nigeria and Holland as well as travelling extensively in Australasia, Europe, the Pacific Rim and North America. He holds a PhD in Combustion Engineering for research in coal combustion on stokers.
In 1990, he formed George Waterhouse Consultants Ltd were he continues his world wide consultancy, expert witness assignments and training in fuel qualities, particularly coal and fuel storage.
Rebecca Lindsey, Lawyer, Trade & Energy Group, Holman Fenwick Willan. Rebecca Lindsey qualified in Western Australia in 1999 and joined the London office of Holman Fenwick Willan in 2005. Rebecca advises clients in international trade, in particular banks and commodity traders, in relation to their physical and derivative commodity transactions and marine transportation activities. She has experience in several jurisdictions and has been involved in a number of large scale litigation and arbitration matters.
Andrea Bucca, Econometrician, BP Oil International.
Andrea Bucca is an Econometrician in the Risk Quantitative Analysis team (RQA) in BP Oil International Ltd. His responsibilities include validation and review of existing models, and research and development of new modelling techniques in shipping, gas and power markets. Prior to this, he worked as Senior Market Analyst at the London Metal Exchange and also as a Research Associate at the Commodities Finance Centre at Birkbeck. Andrea holds an MSc in Finance from Birkbeck, University of London.
Damian Honey, Partner, Holman Fenwick Willan. Damian Honey specialises in advising commodity traders, producers, financiers and insurers on all aspects of their business, including in particular physical and financial sale and purchase, trade finance and transportation. He assists and represents clients in dispute resolution on commodities, finance and freight related matters.
